چکیده
Background: Brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is a neurotrofic that may show healing, survival-promoting and protective effects on neurons in central peripheral nervous system. The effect of physical exercise serum BDNF unclear. Also, level was found significantly lower rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) patients with depression. Objectives: Aim this study to investigate the variation levels following acute potential correlation between Methods: This included 44 RA age sex matched healthy controls (HC). Aerobic performed all participants for single session. intervention treadmill 5 minutes warm-up, 20 walking reaching at 60- 80% Maximal heart rate cool-down. Depression anxiety were evaluated Beck Inventory (BDI) Hospital Anxiety Scale (HADS). Blood samples from subjects taken centrifuged before immediately after intervention. Results: Serum (both baseline post-exercise) similar HC group (Table 1). Although aerobic decreased both groups (Wilcoxon Rank P < 0.05) ΔBDNF higher than group. increased 30.2% 4.5% (P = 0.002). On other hand, BDI, HADS depression indices correlated (p<0.05) but not Conclusion: A bout be effective subjects. However, psychological comorbidities affect amelioration level, RA. long-term alterations BDF candidate evaluate by prospective studies. Table 1.
